The Valle di Ledro
is situated between Lake Garda and the Valle del Chiese in the south
of Trentino. The first thing striking the visitor is the intense green
of its fields, woods, and mountains which surround the beautiful lake.
Art in the Valley: Each village boasts characteristic churches with
works of art by Bernardo Strozzi, Basschenis, the Tintoretto school
and marble carvings from the 17 century.
FLORA: The Valle di Ledro is a natural
botanic garden offering a variety of flowers every month of the year
(starting with the Christmas Rose which flowers in the heart of winter.
Valle di Ledro means also history: The
Bronze Age Palafittes in Molina, Garibaldi in Bezzeca and the traces
of the First World War on Mt. Cadria and Palone.
